Badder USB/Pwnpi

When I am met with a obstacle I get excited. One of my favorite things to do is solve puzzles. Troubleshooting a system issue makes me think of solving a puzzle. I really enjoy the process of idenitfying an issue, then coming up with a solution, and implementing it. The entire industry is something that I enjoy and I am constantly working to better myself.

My name is Dustin, I am a IT Technician with a background in design.

I am happily married with a beautiful wife and an amazing son. In my free time, when I am not studying, I enjoy doing historical reenactment from the viking era, breeding neat animals, photography, and computer science.

I am a huge dork. Reading comics and watching my favorite series like Star Trek, Star Wars and or MCU movies.

I started working as a web designer in 2012, I learned how much I enjoyed working with computers especially with code.

In 2016 I took a "break" from the career path I was on and started working as a sales associate. I have worked at Baytown Hyundai full time since then. In the years that I worked as a sales associate, I grew in my ability to work with the human element of overcoming obstacles. I can speak to a person and decipher all of the extra words and figure out exactly what is needed. I am happy about this experience because now I have a skill that I would never have had if I had stayed as just a designer for all that time.

Randomly a few years ago the owner of Baytown Hyundai asked me if I would be interested in moving into a marketing and branding role. This position is the one that I still currently hold at Baytown Hyundai. Along with getting to refine my skill with a DSLR camera, I also delved into how a companies' marketing is done and how a business looks at budgeting and working with in constraints but still being able to accomplish goals.

In 2021 my parents started a healthcare consulting firm. They asked me to help them build their infrastructure, from that moment I was hooked and decided to change my entire career. While I watched hours of YouTube videos and read tech manuals I remembered how much I love working on computers and building things. I went back to school and started absorbing everything I could to help me learn more.
